It's absurd how anyone can produce something so horrible and still have the gall to criticise Madlib, now it's impossible for me to take you seriously. Yes I have sampled and made beats, I'm effing 17, of course I'm not on a label. Madlib's beats are fine, and even if he had shit beats his rhymes are awesome. Your comparision to Kenny G is a load of shit, if you're going to make deriding analogies, try to make them cogent. The series began officially in 2006 with the release of Beat Konducta Vol 1-2: Movie Scenes.The album was stylistically a companion to (James Yancey) J Dillas Donuts, which was released the month before, 3 days prior to Yanceys death. Beat Konducta is also an alias which Madlib uses. And I think Pusha is still going by Terrar at this point, which is a stupid name. Beat Konducta is a 7-album series released by hip hop musician Madlib. The dudes are so young they sound like they sucked on a balloon before recording. It took me forever (forever in Internet time = like 2 hours) to find a decent copy with all the tracks, so enjoy. It's not entirely produced by the Neptunes, but they did do most of it and a few of the beats turned up on less-good albums (Jadakiss). The album was shelved by Elektra after the label decided it didn't really feel like promoting the single "The Funeral" all that much, which is kind of like the Fox Network and every good show they've had. Today I've got Exclusive Audio Footage, the Clipse's first record. I'm not up on all the leaks and shit, so I'm going to be digging through my vaults to bring you slept-on gems and shizz you probably should have heard already.
